Almost exactly on the 6 month mark for the club's lifecycle, we passed the halfway mark for the limited number of Lifetime memberships.
Given that we produced 50 extensions in the first 6months of our life. The future for Ninjoomla members, especially life members, is bright indeed.
Life memberships are perfect for:
- Professional Website developers - Your customers have shifting demands and it's good to know you have access to a wide variety of professional quality extensions, and the same quality service backing them up, so you can be confident in the quality of your own products.
- Hobbiests - You want to be able to try out a massive variety of well coded extensions and study them to improve your skills.
- Business operators - You want things to 'just work', but as we all know, sometimes they don't. So at least you can be comfortble that someone will 'just fix it' for you.
So those of you who were wavering on it, now is the chance to grab one before they go. Because once the last one is gone there will be no more.

Soon everyone will have the opportunity to know.
I am proud to announce that one of our new generation of Ninja Group Sites is nearing completion.
I have noticed recently an increasing number of people having problems purely because of their host's setup, which is almost always old (e.g. running php4 only), mis-configured (massive security holes), make things hard for Mambo and Joomla developers with no good reason for it (file ownership and permission issues anyone?), have poor service, or are completely clueless when asked a question about your favorite CMS and it's extensions.
Ninja Hosting HQ is our answer to that.

The Mailinator!
I came across the Mailinator site a few weeks ago and thought it was a novel idea, I hate having to register at sites when I just want to grab something small, or read something short. Because almost always, you have to fill in copious quantities of 'required' personal information, then wait for your confirmation email, then go back to the site to confirm your registration, then login, and then finally try to find the original page/download you were after (because they always redirect you somewhere when you login, especially for the first time).
Then by the time you have done all this you have spent longer getting into the site than you spend actually on the site.
Then as I was sitting there looking at Mailinator and chuckling to myself about how nice it will be to not have to give my email address to every idiot under the sun, something suddenly dawned on me.
I am one of those idiots!
